Terms of sale

1. Company information

Printhallen is operated by VelvetStack AB, company registration number 559557-0515, VAT number SE559557051501, Tjärnvägen 17, 433 51 Öjersjö, email hej(at)printhallen.se. You can reach customer service through the contact form.

These terms are an English translation provided for convenience. The Swedish version is the binding text; if the two differ, the Swedish text applies.

2. Ordering

To shop with us you must be 18 or over, or have a guardian's consent. The shop is aimed at consumers in Sweden. If you buy as a business, the right of withdrawal and the rest of consumer law do not apply.

The contract is formed when we have confirmed your order by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item has sold out, if a price or product description was wrong, if we suspect misuse, or if a custom print cannot be carried out (section 7). What you have paid is then refunded.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Swedish kronor and include 25 % VAT. Shipping is added and shown at the checkout. The price of a custom print is calculated for your file and your choices and is valid for 7 days. A manual quote is valid for the quantity and until the date stated in it. We reserve the right to correct typing and pricing errors, and we may change prices for future purchases.

Payment is made in advance at the checkout, with the payment methods shown there, and is handled by our payment provider. If you choose Klarna, Klarna's terms also apply. A discount code applies on the conditions that belong to the code, one code per order, and is deducted from the price of the goods but not from the shipping. It cannot be applied afterwards or exchanged for money.

4. Delivery

We deliver within Sweden with tracked shipping. Items in stock are normally dispatched within 2 working days. Items made to order, including custom prints, are normally dispatched within 7 days and at the latest within 14 days of payment. Delivery then normally takes 1 to 3 working days. We will let you know if there is a delay.

A parcel that is not collected is returned to us. We then charge our costs for shipping, return shipping and handling, and deduct them from any refund. An uncollected parcel does not count as cancelling your purchase. Damage in transit must be reported to us as soon as possible.

5. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel a purchase of products from the shop within 14 days of the day you received the goods, or the last item in the order, under distansavtalslagen (the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, 2005:59). The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom prints or other goods made to your specifications (chapter 2, section 11, point 3 of that Act).

To cancel your purchase, give us a clear notice before the period has ended, through the Cancel your purchase function or in another way, for example by email. You can use the model form at the end of these terms.

Send the goods back within 14 days of your notice to VelvetStack AB, Tjärnvägen 17, 433 51 Öjersjö, with the order number stated. You pay the return shipping and are responsible for the goods in transit, so use tracked shipping. We do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery. If you would like a return shipping label from us, its cost is deducted from the refund. The cost is stated in advance and may be higher than the shipping you paid.

The goods must be returned well packaged and in unchanged condition. If they have been handled more than necessary to examine them, or are damaged, we deduct the loss in value, which may amount to the full price of the goods.

We refund the price of the goods and the shipping, though no more than the cost of the cheapest shipping option we offered, within 14 days of your notice. We may withhold the refund until the goods have come back or you have shown that they have been sent. If you cancel part of the order, the shipping is not refunded. The refund goes to the payment method you used.

6. Complaints

You have three years to make a complaint under konsumentköplagen (the Swedish Consumer Sales Act) about a defect that existed when you received the goods. Make the complaint within a reasonable time after you discovered the defect by contacting us with the order number and a description of the defect, and wait for our reply before sending anything back. If the complaint is accepted, we replace the goods or refund you and pay the return shipping, in accordance with konsumentköplagen.

The right to complain does not cover normal wear, damage caused by incorrect use, heat, moisture or external impact, the characteristics described in section 8, or defects that stem from your own model.

7. Custom prints

We print your model as it is, with the material and the settings you have chosen. You are responsible for the model: that it works, fits and holds up for what you intend to use it for, and that you have the right to have it printed. The file is used only to calculate the price and to make your order. If a claim is made against us because your model infringes someone else's rights or is contrary to law, you must compensate us for the damage this causes us.

We do not print weapons or parts of weapons, unlawful objects or models that infringe someone else's rights.

The price and the preview are based on an automatic calculation. If it turns out that the model cannot be printed with an acceptable result, that the file is faulty, that the print would differ substantially from the calculation or that the order is contrary to these terms, we may cancel the order. We then contact you by email with a proposal or refund what you have paid.

Custom prints are made specifically for you and carry no right of withdrawal, which you confirm at the checkout. You can cancel the order free of charge until printing has started. After that we are entitled to compensation for the work done and the material used, up to the full price of the print.

8. Product characteristics and use

The goods are made with 3D printers that build the object layer by layer in plastic (PLA or PETG). Visible layers and seams, slightly uneven surfaces under overhangs, marks from support material, small deviations in dimensions (normally within 0.2 mm) and small differences in colour and gloss are part of the technique and are not defects. Colours may differ from the pictures on the site. Every print is checked before it is dispatched.

Unless the product page says otherwise, the goods are functional and decorative items for adults. They are not toys and not intended for children under 14, may contain small parts, are not intended for contact with food, are not resistant to high temperatures (PLA softens at about 55 °C, PETG at about 70 °C) and must not be used where a failure could cause injury or damage to property, for example to bear loads, as protective equipment or together with electricity. Any other use is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the goods. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor for damage caused by goods being used in a way other than intended or contrary to section 8.

We are released from damages and other sanctions if we are prevented from performing the contract by a circumstance beyond our control, for example a decision by a public authority, war, natural disaster, fire, strike, serious illness, an interruption of electricity, internet or transport, or faults and delays at suppliers.

The limitations in this section apply to the extent that mandatory law, such as konsumentköplagen and produktansvarslagen (the Swedish Product Liability Act), does not provide otherwise.

10. Account and personal data

An account is optional and you can delete it at any time. We may close an account that is misused. How we process personal data is set out in the privacy policy.

11. Changes, law and disputes

Your purchase is governed by the terms you accepted when you paid. We may change the terms for future purchases. Swedish law applies. In the event of a dispute, you as a consumer can turn to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. Disputes are otherwise settled by the Swedish general courts.
