FAQ

Answers to what customers ask most often. If you cannot find yours, contact us and we normally reply within 2 working days.

Ordering a custom print

Which file formats can I upload?

STL, 3MF, STEP and OBJ, up to 50 MB. The file must be drawn in millimetres. You see the model in your browser as soon as it is uploaded, and can turn it around before you order.

How large can a print be?

Up to 256 × 256 × 256 mm in one piece. If the model is larger, the page tells you straight away, and you can send the file for a manual quote instead.

How is the price calculated?

The price depends on how much material the print uses and how long it takes to print, with your choice of material, layer height, infill and quantity. You see an approximate price as soon as the file is uploaded, and the exact price a minute or so later, once the calculation for your file is done.

The price includes VAT and is valid for 7 days. Shipping is added at the checkout once you have entered your address.

What if the price cannot be calculated?

Sometimes a price cannot be calculated automatically, for example for a very large or complex model, or if you want more than 20 copies. You can then send the file for a manual quote right there on the page. We look at it and email you a fixed price, with a link to order from. It costs nothing and you are not committing to anything.

Can I get an offer on a larger order?

Yes. Contact us and describe what you need, ideally with material, colour and quantity, and we will send an offer with a price and a link. You pay the offer at the checkout, just like an ordinary order. An offer is valid for 7 days.

Which material should I choose?

PLA suits decorative pieces, prototypes and most things that stay indoors. It gives sharp detail and a matt surface. PETG is tougher and copes better with heat and moisture, so it suits brackets, holders and things that live outdoors.

Neither material withstands high heat. PLA softens at around 55 °C and PETG at around 70 °C, so neither belongs in a dishwasher or a hot car.

Which colours are available?

The colours we have in stock for each material are shown when you order. The colour does not affect the price. The colour on screen may differ slightly from the real one.

What do layer height and infill mean?

The layer height is the thickness of each layer the plastic is laid down in. The standard is 0.20 mm. Thinner layers, 0.12 mm, give a finer surface but take longer, and 0.28 mm is faster and suits coarser pieces.

The infill is how much of the inside is filled. More infill makes a heavier, stronger part, and the price follows. The standard setting is enough for most things, and you see the price change as you choose.

What is support material?

Parts that hang freely in the air need something under them while they are printed. We add support material where it is needed and remove it before the print is sent. It can leave small marks on the surface where it sat.

What does a 3D print look like?

The object is built up layer by layer, so the layers show in the surface, most on sloping and rounded areas. Small deviations in size, normally within 0.2 mm, and slight differences in colour and gloss are part of the technique. Every print is checked before it is sent. What counts as a defect is set out in the terms of sale.

I have no model of my own. Can you design one?

We print the model you upload and do not design models to order. Ready-made models can be downloaded from sites such as MakerWorld, Printables and Thingiverse. Check that the model's licence allows it to be printed for you, since you are responsible for the rights to what you upload.

What happens to my file?

The file is used only to calculate the price and make your order, and is never shown to anyone else. A file that does not lead to a purchase is deleted after 7 days. Files that belong to an order are kept for 90 days after delivery, so we can help you if something needs to be redone. There is more in the privacy policy.

The shop

What does it mean that a product is made to order?

Ready-made products are either in stock or made when you order them, for example in a colour we do not have in stock at the time. Products in stock are normally sent within 2 working days, and those made to order normally within 7 days. The product page says which applies.

Can businesses order?

Yes, through the same checkout and with the same payment methods. Payment is made in advance, for businesses too, and the order confirmation shows the price with VAT itemised. If you buy as a business, the right of withdrawal does not apply. If you need many copies or something outside the shop, we are happy to write an offer.

Price and payment

Do the prices include VAT?

Yes. All prices are in Swedish kronor and include 25 % VAT. Shipping is shown at the checkout once you have entered your address.

How can I pay?

By card, Swish, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You choose the payment method at the checkout once you have entered your details. Payment is handled by our payment provider, and your card details never reach us.

When is the money taken?

The order is paid at the checkout before we start making it. If you choose Klarna, Klarna's terms govern when and how you pay them.

How do I use a discount code?

Enter the code at the checkout before you pay, and the discount is taken off the price of the goods. One code per order, and it does not apply to shipping. If you sign up for the newsletter, you get a code for 10 % off your first order.

Delivery

How long is the delivery time?

Products in stock are normally sent within 2 working days. Custom prints and products made to order are normally sent within 7 days of payment. Delivery then normally takes 1 to 3 working days. You get a tracking link by email when the parcel has been sent.

What does shipping cost?

It depends on where the parcel is going and how large it is. Smaller prints go as a tracked parcel to your letterbox, larger ones to a service point, a parcel locker or your door. The options and the price for your address are shown at the checkout. The lowest shipping price right now is on the Shipping and delivery page.

Do you ship anywhere in Sweden?

Yes. We are in Öjersjö, just outside Gothenburg, and ship across the whole country. Delivery normally takes 1 to 3 working days whether the parcel is going to Stockholm, Malmö, Umeå or a smaller town.

Do you ship to other countries?

No, at present we deliver within Sweden only.

How do I follow my order?

The order confirmation has a link to your order page, where you see the status all the way from paid to shipped. When the parcel has been sent you also get a tracking link. If you have an account, all your orders are gathered there.

The parcel arrived damaged. What do I do?

Contact us as soon as possible, ideally with photos of the parcel and its contents before you throw away the packaging. We handle the contact with the carrier.

Withdrawal, cancellation and complaints

Do I have a right of withdrawal?

On ready-made products from the shop you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you received the goods. Custom prints and anything else made to your instructions have no right of withdrawal, which you confirm at the checkout.

Use Cancel your purchase and you get a confirmation straight away. How the return works and what is refunded is set out in the terms of sale.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes. A custom print can be cancelled free of charge until printing has started, and a ready-made product until the parcel has been sent. You do it from your order page, and the money is refunded to the same payment method.

Something is wrong with what I received. What do I do?

Contact us with the order number and a description of the fault, ideally with photos, and wait for our reply before you send anything back. You have a three-year right to complain under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. If a complaint is accepted, we replace the item or refund you, and we pay the return shipping.
